Then our new distribution came with a new group called Sisit, and they have just finished this nice album "Uanniik Ilinnut", consisting mainly of rhythmic pop and ballads. The songs are melodic with good texts dealing with many recognizable things with love in front, and the singer Ludvig Svendsen, who has written the songs together with Jan Olsen and Nukannguaq Kajusen (Inuk), sings with a vowel that is very prominent on the record. One can feel that the singer challenges himself, and with the musicians like the aforementioned and Malik Andersen (Arctic Spirits), Aasaf Olsen and Niels Ole Olsen (Liima Inui), it works well and you can clearly feel the home study atmosphere. The songs are written from 1998-2009 and the record contains 12 songs, recorded in Sisit Studio 2010.

Rosa Wille, also known from Vajgat Okrkesteret, published this album in 1988, and if you want something real "kalattuut" (Greenlandic folk dance music) this is the album. All the classics, such as "Arnannguaq kavaajalik" and "Maniitsuliarluta", which are among the most famous Kalattut songs in Greenland, are featured on this album. The album also contains swing and roll songs that in themselves are very nice. This group is doing well in the good old fashioned way, and although the many songs on the CD are composed of many different, they still manage to keep the red thread. The style is traditional Greenlandic music and is certainly suitable for the more festive moments, as you can not get in touch with the music.

For the first time ever, it has been possible to make a solo CD with a drummer. Imîna Imîna (1896-1984) was recognized as one of the biggest drummers in Qaanaaq. He lived as a prisoner, but at the same time he knew a wealth of songs that were inherited from generation to generation. He sang them with great indulgence and sweetness, while respecting the tradition. In 1962, Michael Hauser and Bent Jensen visited Qaanaaq, and recorded a lot of music on which the CD's three Thule CDs are based. Among them, a wide selection of Imini Imagna's songs, which now makes it possible to listen to the best drummer in Qaanaaq on an entire CD. Imina's grandson, Hivshu, Robert E.Peary II, has collaborated with his organizers through his grandfather's songs,

The collection of traditional music, kingsongs and peoples pictures from East Greenland was recorded from 1906 to 1989. Sounds we start in ancient Tunu, an East Greenland where Christianity has not yet made solid roots, and where drums, breaths and shamanism were still part of everyday life. And ending in Kulusuk church a beautiful Sunday morning in the 60s, where the drummers went to church and sang on the hymns

Along with the CD, we hear horrific breath stories, sweet kiss songs, drum-pow wows at home in people in the living rooms, with friends and acquaintances who sing. Some of the songs invade us in hunting techniques: how do you scratch the ice, so that the seal gets caught closer? The CD follows a 32-page English-language booklet, with James Bianco, who himself is East Greenlander, having comments on most of the songs. That way, it is possible to get a little behind the music and understand the cultural context the music and songs are part of.

This CD is a digitization of an old popular LP from 1980 with the group Uillut from Qaqortoq. Uillut's album is a nice positive record containing 10 songs and there are 2 women and a man who sings on the songs and makes it more diverse to listen to. The album is acoustic and it will not be more enjoyable with the banjo and bongo drums above the rhythmic guitar. The singers have pleasant voices and if you compare the music with something, it's a good thing to remind you of Per & Birthe's release: Kisimiinngilatit, which is also an acoustic record. The group had the following members: Kaj Lyberth (song & guitar), Esther-Margethe Bentzen (song & bongo drum), Niels Skouby (guitar, banjo, bongo drums & song), Olga Berthelsen (song).

Alloriarneq Nutaaq is a spiritual CD and is suitable for relaxation music as well as meditation or simply as mood music. It is a rare publication and after much demand around the country there is finally a well-worked CD in that genre. The numbers are long (playing time: about 50 minutes) with time to a lot of construction so there is peace to fold out. Henriette Berthelsen stands for this lovely publication, which should be allowed to speak for himself.

Aqqaluk Heilmann from Upernavik has worked on his songs for a long time in a home studio and with some help from Atlantic Studio he had finished the album earlier this year (2012). There are a couple of female singers who hold the album while singing himself on most songs. The songs are positive where the style is traditional Greenlandic music with a touch of country and rock 'n' roll. The CD contains 12 songs and is most suitable for the middle aged audience.

Qeqquaq, already known for this third album, is a sought after band, and this time they have managed to record 13 songs. The style of the album that is true to Qeqquaq's very own style is something that many have been waiting for. The songs contain singers with multi-voice vowels in the form of female and male voices that make the album diverse to listen to. The songs have lovely twists and turns, and the lyrics are well written to the Greenlandic audience that everyone can relate to.

Qaammataasat is a new band from Nuuk, and the music style itself is new in Greenland, where the melodic universe is spiced with a lot of hovering guitars and quiet vocal voices. The melodies are modest and inviting in the cool way, so as listening automatically automatically leans back and enjoying the lovely contrast between the different British-rock-inspired reefs and themes that drive on the instrumental and surprising expression that the singer gives. The album deserves to be heard several times as it takes at least a couple of passages to get fully into the Qaammataasat genre. The album "Sinnattut" has some lovely ballads with tempos shift and there are several tracks to be noticed, not least the radio sing "Kisivit" which is a nice catchy song.
