In addition to Greenlandic drum dancers, there are also some from Canada, and inside the cover there are great descriptions of how the recordings have taken place (both in Greenlandic and English). Drum dances
Greenlandic drum dances are, like the relatives found in Eastern and Central Canada, based around a single dancer who composes his song by his family while he dances, usually in a qaggi, a snow-house built just for community events such as the drum dance . The men's drum dancing skills are evaluated by his endurance in his long performance and the nature of his compositions. Drum dances are an important element of Greenlandic Inuit cultural cohesion, and function as personal expression, pure entertainment and social sanction.
Many drumdances are competitive in nature, featuring two song cousins ​​who humorously sing and dance, while pointing out the flaws in the other. This is generally a light-hearted, convivial event, but is also sometimes used to settle serious duels between warring families or individuals; The jokes are prepared ahead of time and the person who evokes the most laughter from the audience is considered the victor

In addition, the "A Burning Moment" melody is known as the "2900 Happiness" TV3 - now in Danish, and with so many different songs, the album is colorful in which modern pop is offered with more exciting twists. "Right Now" is Julie's fourth album, and her voice is obviously perfect for the Danish language, which creates a nice healthy plate with lots of energy and a Julie in top form!

This collection CD came out in 1989 and contains the very big names in Greenlandic music. Names like Zikaza, Ole Kristiansen, Sume and Naneruaq participate in this lovely collection (see track list). You get an insight into where Greenlandic music is today. The music on this album continues from generation to generation and it is a pleasure to hear so well-produced songs that are still heard today both for the young and for the elderly. An extra bonus on this CD is Egon Sikivat, as drum dancer at the beginning and end of this CD, so you can do it all. Egon Sikivat, a world-renowned drummer, died in 2009, and is known for example from Sume's first release, the short film "Inuup Tarraa" and many concerts around the world.

Greenland's first punk band is called Piitsukkut. They recorded this CD in the year 1980, which contains 11 numbers. H.E.J who stands for several of Greenland's most popular songs, such as "Kalaallit Nunarput" and "Aalakoorputit", has been on the track for a long time and now they have finally produced their first album ever on CD. Their old works have only been available for cassette or LP and their lovely seventies are still the same with a newer sound. On this album they have managed to get their biggest hit "Ukiut" with, as many have missed. A beloved number of the Greenlandic community, which in style fits really well with the new songs on the record. This is a "comeback" CD to the highest degree and it is good to hear from HEJ again, which has also begun playing live concerts again. The album has been produced in Nuunoq Studio (2008).

Ulf Fleischer - Greenland's very own little man with a lot of singing voice was already known before joining this magnificent album, with songs like "Neriuut", "Paarisa", "Takorluulertuarpagit" and "Issiaannarusunngilanga", he became one of the leading artists in Greenland. His music video with the number "Paarisa" became a landslide without equal, and as one should mention, this album was a campaign against HIV / AIDS which was a newer subject in Greenland when the album was reproduced back in 1988. However, the texts are still relevant Since they are timeless and absolutely genius and the music is really beautifully composed with musicians like Michael Hansen and Eigil Petersen on guitar, Hans Rosenberg on drums and Jorsi Sørensen on bass. Johanne Wille has been heard back in Atlantic Music's tenth release with her husband Erik, and now she is out with her solo album, produced in a home studio. The album "Ukiup Taartitaani" is a traditional plate mixed with a bit of country-based rhythms, which will probably make the movements of the listener. Frederik Kristensen - Kunngi - the year's recipient of the Greenlandic Cultural Prize - is now ready with a new CD, with 12 new songs - performed by himself and a number of his musical friends. Kunngi, known for his multitalent as a poet, artist, and songwriter, can now again contribute the population to a new entertaining CD, as many have been waiting for.
Many people remember the 1994 "Same Samma Paffa Paffa" CD, which was built according to the same concept: Kunngi's beautiful poems, performed by himself and a number of other singers. It was among other things on the CD that for the first time heard a young Kuupik Kleist singing. And that collaboration is still on Kunngi's new CD.
The new songs are the result of an annual process where the musician and producer JORSI SØRENSEN have occasionally collected a handful of other musicians, ANGUNNGUAQ LARSEN (Chilly Friday), OVE HEILMANN (G60), LEIF IMMANUELSEN (Inneruulat et al.) And Romanian ION FAGHIURA. Together, they have created the musical foundation, and then Jorsi Sørensen has collected a number of singers who make the CD's 12 songs to small musical beads.
