The soundtrack for the biggest movie about Greenland "Heart of Light" consists of very different music aimed at all ages. The title song itself is very beautiful and thoughtful. Among Greenlandic music you can mention Mariina and SUME. Selvka Nukaaka Motzfeldt contributes a nice drum dance, which is to be enjoyed, as it is rarely heard of recordings of female drum dancers. Other artists include TV2, the KLF, Laid Back, the Vajgat Orchestra and many others. The CD came out in 1998 and contains a total of 23 tracks - some of the tracks are replicas from the movie.

Qaaq was for the first time ever gathered for a concert in Katuaq earlier this year, where some of the most experienced musicians have helped in the project. Per Berthelsen, who is in charge of the project, Julie Berthelsen, together with her sister Krissie W. Berthelsen and with musicians like Viila Sandgreen on guitar and Jim Milne on the piano, can only promise good. The concert was a huge success in Katuaq and we are happy to have taken it all.
