The Greenlandic singer, songwriter and actor Rasmus Lyberth is now ready with a collection of new songs on the album "Curiosity as a mate". Besides Rasmus, there is also a new team of musicians: Kristoffer Jul Reenberg (Piano and Hammond Organ), Alain Apaloo (Guitar), Ayi Solomon (drums), Ulrik Skytte Andersen (bass) and Jane Clark (Violin).

It's always a breathtaking and unique experience to hear Rasmus Lyberth sing his Greenlandic songs. Rasmus possesses a very special ability to convey the dramatic, magnificent and contrasting stories, both found in Greenland's nature and human destiny. With his self-composed music and his captivating voice, Rasmus sings about Greenland's nature, the conditions of the population and the homeland's development, so it defies all language barriers and goes straight to the heart of the audience.

With his music and art, Rasmus Lyberth has focused on the country to the north of one
International audience, and his artistic commitment has secured Greenland one of the most popular artistic representatives ever. It was most recently expressed when the BBC in July 2011 had invited Rasmus Lyberth to participate in their annual prestigious promenade concerts in The Royal Albert Hall.

Everyone knows Rasmus Lyberth who is Greenland's ambassador in Greenlandic music. His clean and controlled voice gives the music a wonderful spirit that keeps popping in the ears. This record is a collection of his best songs from previous releases. There are a lot of old classics, which have been remastered for top quality sound in 2001. A nice sell in both Greenland and Denmark. Rasmus is one of the most tanned musicians, and is clearly visible in his calm voice and great guitar playing. Atlantic Studio 10 year jubilee in october 2008. Atlantic Studio made 2 compilations – the content of this production is addressed to the elder listeners. Most tracks are produced in home studies and finally mastered in Atlantic Studio. Popular artists such as Rasmus Lyberth, Pavia Geisler, Asuki and Qarsoq are guests on this production containing 20 tracks.

Ulf Fleischer - Greenland's very own little man with a lot of singing voice was already known before joining this magnificent album, with songs like "Neriuut", "Paarisa", "Takorluulertuarpagit" and "Issiaannarusunngilanga", he became one of the leading artists in Greenland. His music video with the number "Paarisa" became a landslide without equal, and as one should mention, this album was a campaign against HIV / AIDS which was a newer subject in Greenland when the album was reproduced back in 1988. However, the texts are still relevant Since they are timeless and absolutely genius and the music is really beautifully composed with musicians like Michael Hansen and Eigil Petersen on guitar, Hans Rosenberg on drums and Jorsi Sørensen on bass. An ultimate composition of Greenlandic musicians, which today is spread out in groups such as G60, Rasmus Lyberth Band and Ole Kristiansen Band. The record contains 14 tracks where there are dialogues between a couple of numbers. The previously mentioned well-known songs are still often played in the nationwide radio and it is a joy every single time. After such a great demand, it is good to be able to get such a record back on the market again!

Juaaka Lyberth's famous albums "Kalaaleqatikka" from 1978 and "Oqaluttuat" from 1982 are now back on the market. Juakaas songs that have been known for decades now and still move from generation to generation have gained cult status. Juaaka, who got comeback with his latest release "Naasumik Paju", got the songwriter on stage again to the great public. Juaaka, who has become active again for live concerts, has many songs in his repertoire, and his many fans from across the coast have been waiting for this double CD again in the hands after many years of waiting.

Juaaka Lyberth, known from some of the great classics, has not been active on stage for several years, but now he's up to date with a new album featuring well-known and new songs. Juaaka has hits like "Lis Mari" and "Asasannut", and replaying such great songs is lovely to get out. Juaaka Lyberth receives good help from a number of talented musicians: Hans Rosenberg, Jes A. Peand-eL, released with its first album back in 2005, is now out with its second album.

This CD is a digitization of an old popular LP from 1980 with the group Uillut from Qaqortoq. Uillut's album is a nice positive record containing 10 songs and there are 2 women and a man who sings on the songs and makes it more diverse to listen to. The album is acoustic and it will not be more enjoyable with the banjo and bongo drums above the rhythmic guitar. The singers have pleasant voices and if you compare the music with something, it's a good thing to remind you of Per & Birthe's release: Kisimiinngilatit, which is also an acoustic record. The group had the following members: Kaj Lyberth (song & guitar), Esther-Margethe Bentzen (song & bongo drum), Niels Skouby (guitar, banjo, bongo drums & song), Olga Berthelsen (song).
