ASCD15: Samples/Lydklip
The lyrics of N.F.S. Grundtvig (from book) are translated into greenaldic by the author Frederik Nielsen. FN died in 1991 (1905-1991). The music was produced in 2000 by the choir Appitta with great integrity. N.F.S. Grundtvig had written about church bells, God, Lord´s Prayer, - Christian and divine subjects. A very beautiful and relaxing production – mostly meant for the elder.
This CD is from 1998 and contains 8 tracks. The songs are pop songs exclusively in Greenlandic. Happy Face consists of Frederik Enoksen and Sergey Shtuchka. In addition, they have the Greenlandic drummer Otto Henriksen. Their most famous song on the record is the song "Takorluugara", and the whole CD reminds a lot of the eight-star style where the keyboard played a more important role. The songs contain pleasant melodies that are easy to humiliate.
This 1994 CD contains 12 songs played by different musicians. The number that has been blamed for the great popularity is undoubtedly Kuupik Kleist's "Silama Qeqqa", which has a nice heavy relaxing effect on the listener. His deep voice and the lovely guitar game is a fantastic cocktail that goes into a higher unit. The other contributors on the record are Frederik Kristensen, Iisaavaraq Petrussen, Juaansi Lynge, Inunnguaq Petrussen and Vivi Lynge Petrussen.
The Appitta choir from Nuuk, this time in co-operation with Frederik and Ludvig Kristensen, has recorded 9 tracks. The numbers consist of both crossed singles and crosses that are backed up by instruments like harmonics, organ, guitar and gentle drums. People who like choral music and music such as Igalikumiut Kinguaavisa Nipilersortartui will love this plate. The songs, like everything else, are very short, but beautifully dazzled with deep tones from men and high tones from the ladies who together harmonize beautifully.

Frederik Kristensen - Kunngi - the year's recipient of the Greenlandic Cultural Prize - is now ready with a new CD, with 12 new songs - performed by himself and a number of his musical friends. Kunngi, known for his multitalent as a poet, artist, and songwriter, can now again contribute the population to a new entertaining CD, as many have been waiting for. Many people remember the 1994 "Same Samma Paffa Paffa" CD, which was built according to the same concept: Kunngi's beautiful poems, performed by himself and a number of other singers. It was among other things on the CD that for the first time heard a young Kuupik Kleist singing. And that collaboration is still on Kunngi's new CD.The new songs are the result of an annual process where the musician and producer JORSI SØRENSEN have occasionally collected a handful of other musicians, ANGUNNGUAQ LARSEN (Chilly Friday), OVE HEILMANN (G60), LEIF IMMANUELSEN (Inneruulat et al.) And Romanian ION FAGHIURA. Together, they have created the musical foundation, and then Jorsi Sørensen has collected a number of singers who make the CD's 12 songs to small musical beads.KUNNGI even sings a couple of songs, in addition, a lovely new voice in Greenlandic music, NAHOME KREUTZMANN, is also featured with LONE JOSEFSEN's popular voice. PETER MOTZFELDT, experienced rappers from among others Nuuk Posse shows brand new sides by itself, and of course KUUPIK KLEIST.
