Nanook - Ataasiusutut Misigissuseq
Nanook, who's been touring aroung the world for the last 3-4 years had a tour break last year to spend time on this album. The band went to Iceland in February and worked with Aeronaut Studiuos with Arnar Guðjónsson behind the buttons. Nanook fell in love with the Icelandic sound years ago and also used the world known studio Sundlaugin Studio where Sigur Rós has been tracked down a lot of songs through their career. With such facilities it became clear that a new chapter for Nanook could begin - a new sound and new inspiration affects this album, and after 4 years of studio break and songwriting this has become a very unique album. It's the band's fourth album and it's still Nanook style, but more developed. It's easy to hear what this album wants to express and this year is the band's 10th year anniversary which they celebrate by releasing; Ataasiusutut Misigissuseq (As if we are one). 11 songs are on this album, and you have never heard Nanook like this.
