Nanook - Pissaaneqaqisut VINYL (2014)

The third album by Nanook, Pissaaneqaqisut, which became a gold selling ambum won the annual KODA-award for best album. The big amount of sale was celebrated by making a vinyl edition of the album. Björn Engelmann from Sweden did the mastering and it is the first vinyl ever from Nanook. The album contains 12 songs and got extremely good reviews from the critics for the songwriting and performance on the album. You can always hear when Nanook comes out of the speakers and the songwriters of the album says that it is the end of a trilogy which the 3 albums (Seqinitta Qinngorpaatit, Ai Ai & Pissaaneqaqisut) stand for. Though this album is more experimental and has some electronic elements the band still keeps their traditional way of playing rock which makes the band easy to recognize. The album has some of the biggest hits such as ´Qiimassutissarput aajuna', ´Nunarput kusanaq´& ´Nanook´.
